Depending on the type of X-ray you are having, the test may take a few minutes or over an hour.
After the test
You can resume your normal activities after the test.
The image is created on a film or on a computer. Your doctor will analyze the results and contact you when they are ready. Ask your doctor when you can expect to get the results.
